Weezer

Some friends told us that Weezer was coming in concert to the casino in Oklahoma which is only about an hour from us. Weezer was one of my very first CDs in 6th grade so I knew we had to go!!   Free Red Bulls from the Red Bull girls, too bad I couldn't drink one.
After the concert we won $60 on Wheel Of Fortune, yes!!
The concert was amazing.  It started at 8pm and Weezer was on at 8:05pm and done at 9 or 930, no opening band.  It was seriously the best and they played all their hits.
Swim, Swim, and more swimming is what we do in Texas.  We have a really great community pool that isn't ever to busy and fun for our kids to swim in.

We had a goodbye dinner for Emily which makes me so sad because she is one of my closest friends here and she also has a little boy Alex's age.
Hanging out at Emily's driving the John Deere.  We might need to get one for Christmas.
Alex taking selfies on my phone, love him.
These two love to watch movies and lounge around together.
Coby and Mallory moved to Atlanta and they stopped at our house to say hi so we took them to Top Golf and had lunch.

One of my favorite things about Texas is the clouds.  Since it's so flat you can see really far and the clouds always look amazing.  Cole and Alex love to play in the backyard, they play games in the trees, play with sidewalk chalk, tip their house over, and always have fun.  Those 19 months paid off!

Last Day Of Preschool

Alex's last day of preschool!!  We had a fight about what shorts he wanted to wear so his eyes are all puffy in this picture from crying, he won the fight :)
Cole wanted a picture too, he can't wait to start preschool in the fall.
Some matching brother pics before church.
Cole!!   Such a sweet loving funny little boy.
and Alex is my creative thoughtful kids.  Love them both so much.
We celebrated Al's birthday this year by trying a new Italian restaurant by us in Frisco and having yummy homemade cake afterwards.

The mall closest to us had a really awesome lego exhibit throughout the entire mall including an area where the kids could build their own which Alex especially loved.
Check out all the rain we got, so crazy!!

Church with Alex!!  He still won't eat the bread in Sacrament, haha.
I've been so bad with pictures this pregnancy and isn't that what everyone says happens after you have your first kid.  I tried to prove them all wrong, but it's happening to me too.

New Orleans

For Memorial Day weekend we decided to go to New Orleans.  It had been pouring rain in Texas for weeks so we watched the weather closely and decided to go at the last minute when it looked clear. The kids did great on the road trip especially when we let them pick out 1 thing at the gas station in the middle of the drive :)  We got there around 8pm, checked into our hotel, searched for food and ended up eating at our hotel since everywhere was crazy.  Saturday morning I had tickets for us to go on a swamp tour.
I thought Frisco was humid, but Louisiana is about 20 times worse.
So nice to get away for a few days especially since this was right in the middle of my morning sickness, yuck.

We learned so many fun things about alligators.  We saw a lot on our tour and the guide would throw them a marshmallow which they apparently love.
Towards the end of the tour they passed around a baby alligator with its mouth taped shut for everyone to hold.  Alex didn't want anything to do with it and Cole was mad that Al was trying to help him.
Cole wouldn't stop crying so when everyone was done I took him to the front and let him have his very own turn.  He proceeded to try and take the tape off the alligators mouth, yikes!!
After our gator tour we had lunch at a trendy sandwich place, walked around the Lafayette cemetery

and drove around the lower 9th ward where Hurricane Katrina hit the worst.  A lot of the homes were still boarded up or a lot of the lots were just empty with overgrown grass, really sad.
We had beignets from the famous Cafe Du Monde, yum.  3 months later and Cole and Alex still say remember when we had beignets in New Orleans.

We walked around the French Quarter and strolled down Bourbon Street around 5pm and got some crazies from the balcony to throw Alex and Cole some beads, they loved it.

 Alex at breakfast Sunday morning.
A pink poodle, totally normal right.
My pictures end here because at dinner that night Cole was playing with my phone and set a passcode, what!!  How does a 2 year old even do that.  When we got home we plugged my phone into my laptop to transfer all my pictures before we reset the phone.   Al said we should just try to guess his code before we wipe your phone.  Turns out it was 8888, oh cole!!

May

I don't think I've ever been this behind on blogging. We've been so busy the last few months, but here is to catching up or at least trying. Cole all cozy in his sleeping bag watching a movie.
A field trip to the pet store to see the animals.
Saturday morning donut run with Dad.  I always thought LA had so many little donut places, but Texas does too!!
Mothers Day!!  We woke up to tornado sirens around 7:30am and all sat in the bathroom for a bit, scary.
My Subway pregnancy obsession with Cole came back in the first trimester with this baby and we went a lot.  Cole loves everything on his sandwich so he's easy to please, but Alex is the picky one so we get him pizza subs like Al.
Alex's preschool pony picture, so cute!!
Frozen yogurt at the last station with my 2 favorite boys.
Alex got new dinosaur sheets that he was so proud of.
Cole being a goof ball at Target.
Alexs preschool program which was hilarious.  The kid on his left is the troublemaker and Alex laughed at everything he did.

By the end his hair was like this and Bressens mom came up and apologized to me, haha.
We love popsicles
My friend Lauren invited us to Hawaiian Falls one morning to be on the news and they give each kid 4 free tickets to the waterpark, score!!
Swim season and this cute boy looks adorable in his Euro swimsuit.  He kept calling it underwear :)
Cole is my sidekick at my Dentist appointments, haha.  He just hangs out on my lap or sits on his iPad, so grown up.  I'm convinced he's a 20 year old in a 2 year old body.
