Whirlwind Weekend

Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Utah to bless Alex. He did great on his first plane ride and didn't cry once.

Going to Utah for a weekend is always a whirlwind because we visit so many people. This time it was more than usual because we wanted everyone to meet Alex. Here he is with Great Aunt Liz at work.

Kynlie & Alex. Kynlie was born 2 weeks after Alex. She still weighs less than what he weighed at birth, but she was born at 34 weeks and Alex was born at 41.

I wanted to drive up the canyon to see how much snow was left. On our way we found some snowmen.

Two Months

It's crazy how fast they grow. Everyone that asks how old he is says something like "enjoy it while you can" which I've been trying to do everyday. You just want to bottle up their sweet baby personality and freeze it forever. I guess that's one of the main reasons I'm obsessed with documenting everything because I don't want to forget how cute he is as a baby.

2 Month Stats

Weight 12.5 lbs 95th percentile

Height 23 inches long 75th percentile

At 2 months Alex is.....

He laughs and makes cooing sounds

Loves to poop in the tub (I'm really hoping he stops this)

At weeks 5 & 6 he was sleeping from 8:30pm-5AM (AWESOME), but then it changed after he got his shots :(

Loves to look around when we take him outside

Loves the freeway, but gets mad when you stop

LOVES his mobile....he will watch it for 1 hour straight

I held him up in front of a mirror and he started crying

I've been trying to read to him once a day and he will look at everything but the book

Will sleep at night in his crib, but won't take naps during the day? Anyone know why?

Still eats every 2 hours during the day....could that explain the 13.5 lbs?

He went on an airplane for the first time and didn't cry once

Loves to run errands with me during the day

Went to the driving range with dad to hit golf balls

Went to the beach, but we never made it to the sand

Everytime we put Alex in his car seat I can't help but laugh. His insert makes the car seat snug around his chubby little body, but if we take it out the car seat is still too big by itself. I have no idea how he got a widows peak because neither Al or I have one. He lost his hair on top of his head last month, but now blonde fuzz is growing back and he has long hair on the back of his head...lol Love him

Al's been helping him work on his golf game.

Al and Alex out for a stroll at the mall. We gave up on the stroller because we always end up carrying him, so this time we were smart and brought the Bjorn.

Al has to change his clothes RIGHT when he gets home from church so it was a big deal to get this picture of him and Alex.

Last but not least Tttttummy Time. Alex is not a fan....he lasts a few minutes and then he gets mad.
