Beach House Trip

My friend Jenny invited some girls to stay at her families beach house in Dana Point for a couple of nights.  We had lunch at Cafe Rio on the way down and stopped in Irvine to swim at the Lagoon.  It was perfect because it wasn't too deep for Alex and I could still semi relax and sit in a chair.
How great is this place.  It was like a mini Mexico.  Alex saw the older kids going on the slides so I ended up taking him which I knew would be a mistake because he kept pointing and trying to grab my hand to go again.
Alex tried Cherries for the first time.  He would take a bite, make a weird face, hand me the cherry, and then want another one?
He wandered off to where all the big boys were playing and got stuck in a chair....lol
Loved the Lagoon, Thanks Jenny.
That night we had a yummy Italian dinner from Guicho's.  Pasta is Alex's favorite, so he was in heaven.
He loved it so much he was the only one still eating while all the other kids were playing.
8 cute kids after baths in their jammies
Alex always has a rough time sleeping when he's not at home.  I put him down around 8 and went outside to make Reeses smores with everyone, so yummy.

Sienna and Hudson were taking pictures for us, so I have about 10 like this on my phone...lol
Alex was not happy about sleeping in a Pac N Play so I brought him out to the living room to watch the Bachelorette with us.  This picture was taken around 10:30pm eating chips and just hanging out with the girls.  I ended up sleeping with him and going to bed around 11:30pm and guess who woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6am?  He never slows down.
The next morning Jenny took us to the Bagel Shack for the best breakfast ever.  Afterwards we went on a walk along the beach.
This walk is way better than walking in circles around the Rose Bowl.
Just another day at the beach.
The beautiful view from Jenny's beach house.
That afternoon we went to Aliso Beach.
I applied sunscreen at least 3 times and still got fried.  I guess it's true that your skin really is more sensitive when you're pregnant.
One of our favorite places.
Alex enjoying the scenery with some snacks.
Cute Olive
All of us
Alex had his first hot tubbing experience after the beach.  That night we had the best tacos at Baja Fish Tacos in Laguna.  Don't get it confused with Baja Fresh, way different and so good.  I took Alex home that night and he slept until 9:30am the next morning.  I guess we wore him out:)
Thank you so much Jenny for having us.  You are a great friend, love you!!
