Random

Last summer I discovered the best salsa at a Farmers Market.  Every time I go to this Farmers Market something bad happens, so I haven't gone for awhile.  Last year I bought all the stuff for the salsa and left my bag sitting there, another time my car battery died, Alex was only a few months old and it's in a bad area.  Last week it sounded really good, I guess you could call it a craving, so I decided to go get some stuff to make it.  Tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, cucumber, cilantro, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and sea salt, so yummy.
There was a park next to the Farmers Market so I decided to let Alex play for a bit.  I let him go down this slide and he started screaming.  I ran over to him and realized it was hot, he cried for a bit and then he was fine.
Later that day Al spotted this on his leg and I realized it was a burn from the slide.   The crazy thing is, it was 10:30am and only 75 degrees outside.  I felt so bad and I'm glad Alex has a high pain tolerance because I would have been crying all day long if that was on my leg.
He also got one on his elbow, so sad.  Be careful when you let your kids go down slides at the park.
We met up with Charlie and Laura at Americana.  Charlie provided entertainment for all of us with his bubble gun.
He watched Alex for me.  Alex doesn't walk quite as fast as Charlie, but he loved it by the look on his face.
That weekend we went to Mormon Dodger night.  We found a new Italian restaurant by Dodger Stadium called Masa.  We had a delicious deep dish pizza before the game.
Welcome Dodgers Mormon Community Night!!
Elder Uchtdorf threw out the first pitch.
The first couple innings we had a ton of seats by us so Alex could wander around.  Al feeding him pistachios, his new favorite snack.
Hudson shared his cotton candy.
Mormon night with some of our favorite Mormons.
We left after the 7th inning stretch which was 2 hours past Alex's bed time, maybe next time we can stay for fireworks.
On Saturday Al's IT band was really tight so he skipped his long bike ride and came to the beach with us, hooray.

No sleeping when you're at the beach with Alex.

I should have done a side view in this picture so you can see how pregnant I really look.  That's the last time I will be squeezing myself into that swimsuit for awhile.
Alex put his face against a fire pit cover at a birthday party that afternoon and ended up with this.  I had to laugh when I looked over at him.
