Alex Turns 2

It seems so cliche to say I can't believe he's 2, but it's true!!  The morning of Alex's Birthday I let him open his presents.
He got to blow out his candles with his waffle.  We've been teaching him how to blow out candles the last few weeks so he is all about it  :)
We had a Mickey Mouse themed Birthday at Brookside Park.
His cake and cupcakes turned out so cute.  I wish I could say I made them, but I didn't.
We ordered 2 huge pizzas, Alex's favorite.
Eating lunch with all his friends.
Giving hugs to his friend Hazel.
Love these girls.
Alex and his cake

I love this picture of him and Hudson eating cupcakes
Al apparently gave him 3 cupcakes to eat the icing off of.  Poor Alex hasn't had that much sugar in his entire life.
We had a Mickey Mouse pinata for the kids.
I don't know if it he was upset that everyone was hitting the pinata or if it was just party overload, but he had a melt down.  Maybe we will wait until his 5th birthday party for another pinata :)
Al was holding Cole and bent over to pick up Alex and his face smashed into a cupcake...lol   He couldn't stop licking his lips.
The best family picture we could get, Alex crying and Cole about to eat a napkin.
and don't forget the party favor, A Mickey Mouse Pez dispenser with gummi Hot Dogs.
Hot Dog, Thanks for Coming to My 2nd Birthday!!
Alex took a long nap that afternoon and that night we took him to dinner at Mi Piace.  Italian is his favorite food just like Al 4 and 5 :)
He shared spaghetti with his Dad and was in heaven.
Cole was fussy so here I am rocking him with my hooter hider hanging on me...lol
Happy 2nd Birthday Alex.  You have brought so much joy to our lives and we are thankful to have you as our son.  We Love You

Easter Weekend 2013

Our Easter weekend was packed full of fun.  We had Friday family date night at our favorite sushi restaurant.
We got dessert at Fair Oaks Pharmacy in South Pasadena.  Al was in heaven
Alex had his first ice cream cone and it was hilarious watching him try to eat it.  In the end he ended up with a spoon picking all the brownie chunks out of Al's sundae.
Saturday morning our ward had an Easter breakfast and Easter egg hunt which we were in charge of.  Here is the Easter Bunny hiding all the eggs.
Sweet little Cole with his Dad.
Alex loved the Easter egg hunt.  After he discovered there was candy in them he couldn't shovel it in fast enough.
It was such a nice day we took Alex to the park.
He wasn't happy about the other kids sitting in the train with him.  We are working on sharing :)
Al's family was in San Diego for his Dad's triathlon so they stayed with us on Saturday and Sunday night. We went to Target so Alex could pick out his birthday present.  Cole carried Lexi's bag for her, hilarious.
Thanks for the cool present Grandma and Grandpa Cameron
Dinner at BJs.  I've never seen so many pizookies and I talked Al into getting the red velvet one which was so good!!
My mom sent Alex and Cole Easter pajamas. I was dying, they are so cute.
Love these little  boys more than they will ever know.
Easter baskets all ready to go.
Everything Cole can grab onto goes into his mouth.  He was trying so hard to eat his Easter basket handle.

I've been waiting for the day to dress them in matching outfits.  Soooo cute.

Family Easter picture.
Al's family went to Disneyland and we had Easter dinner with Coby. This is the 3rd year I've made this ham. Best recipe ever and tastes just as good as Honey Baked Ham.
That night we played Cranium and let Alex stay up until 10pm.  He was loving it and thought he was also playing the game.
There were some funny cards.  Al's Dad trying to get Shelly to guess Zombie.
The best part of the entire night was when everyone had to draw Americas Next Top Model for their partner to guess.  When Al's Dad looked at the card he saw Creative Cat which was the name of the card and not what he should be drawing.  While all of us were guessing world, America, US we heard Al's mom saying cat, kitten.  We all had tears running down our face it was so funny.  It was a great Easter weekend.

Surf City 2013

Grandma and Grandpa Cameron stayed with us a couple weeks ago for the Surf City Marathon.  Friday night we had dinner at Palermos in Silverlake.  The Al's were in heaven with their Italian food.
Coles new nickname from Grandpa is Kaipo Cocos.  Mostly he calls him Coco but Cole is still his real name.
On Saturday we went to the race Expo for Al 4 to check in and we had a yummy lunch at 21 Degrees

On the way home everyone was asleep in the car except Al and I.
You can even see Shelly in the very back asleep.
Love that Cole
Saturday night we had dinner at Whole Foods.  Alex devoured his pizza.

I have to be careful about what I order to drink because he always ends up drinking it.  No more soda for me.
Sunday was race day.  This year I stayed at home with the boys so Al and Shelly could enjoy spectating.  We had a ton of food for Superbowl Sunday that made up for the calories he burned in the race.  Lets be honest thought I could give Al 4 and 5 my pregnancy weight and they would still be thin.
