It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Al and I thought it would be fun to go as a family to see the tree lighting at the Grove. Little did we know all of LA was going too. I have no idea how we found parking, but luckily it wasn't close so we could make a quick escape.

The first spot we were in you couldn't see or hear a thing and I was dying to see Colbie Caillat perform.

We did get to see it snow which people were going nuts about.

Alex asking himself where am I now?

The second spot we found was right by the tree, but you still couldn't hear or see any of the concert so we decided to leave early and miss the tree lighting...lol Good thing because apparently there were riots and lots of other scary things happening. We will go back to see the tree once the hype dies down:)

Alex's Angels

Alex was a busy boy yesterday. Kristin and I decided to take Alex to The Grove to meet the Victoria's Secret super models. I figured he would thank me in 20 years even when they are 45. Who knew that Victoria's Secret models had so many fans?
I really wanted to meet Alessandra, but that was right during LA rush hour so we went to the earlier one to meet Adriana and Candice. I should have known better and got their late because none of these events ever start on time. Having a baby there that eats every 2 hours makes it even more complicated. It was supposed to start at noon, but of course it started at 1. They had a "VIP" line if you purchased $50 or more so Kristin and I got suckered into that and stood in some ridiculous line that didn't feel very VIP.
Once again Alex made us lots of new friends while we were standing in line. I had some random lady come up to me and ask how old he was and then she talked about her 15 week old daughter. I made friends with the security guard and he told me about his 22 month old. Some Asian lady came up to me and asked me if I needed a Nanny. There was a Kim Kardashian look alike standing behind me that normally would have never said anything to me, but because of Alex we became BFFs. We talked about her orange Hermes purse, Cartier bracelet, and two toddlers.
While I was standing in line I kind of felt bad for the models because of all the gross guys waiting to meet them. Some guy freaked out because the security guards said there will be no autographs.

We finally made it to the front of the line and when Adriana spotted Alex she started freaking out and said in some accent "ahhh I want to hold the baby." She just happened to have hand sanitizer which I'm guessing was for some of the fans in line. The only bummer was they had to take the picture and they had some cheesy green screen background.
Adriana and Candice held Alex and they went to Hawaii
Fiji
Rio de Janeiro
Cape Town
and then I got to join them in Hawaii!! What a fun afternoon and I know all the girls reading this are curious about if they looked just as pretty in person. Let me just say they are beautiful and they barely wear any makeup. Adriana told me she had a 14 month old and look at her body. There is hope for all of us!
We discussed our busy afternoon over lunch and had a great seat on the patio to people watch.
and our way out we saw Mario Lopez and supposedly got filmed to be on E, but who knows.
