Loyalty

Last weekend we went to the USC-Utah game. Alex was busting out of his Utah onesie. I'm guessing he will thin out like his dad once he gets a little older :)
Before you look at this next picture I will answer two questions. Yes I graduated from the University of Utah and no I don't own any Utah apparel, so I figured why not wear my cute USC t-shirt and cheer for the Trojans who lets be honest are way cooler than the Utes anyway (sorry).
On our way to the game I started feeling guilty that I wasn't being loyal to the school I graduated from, but as we walked down the middle of campus I was glad all 3 of us weren't in Utah gear. Everyone kept saying stuff like look at the UTAH BABY, BOOOO than I busted out the fight on sign.
We bought some amazing seats off a season ticket holder and had a great view. Too bad the view only lasted for about 10 minutes until we realized Alex couldn't handle the noise.
We moved up to the very top where it was quieter and much easier to feed him.
Whitney's Top 10 Reasons SC is cooler than the U in no significant order
1-The colors.....so many cute outfits for game day
2-Greek Row (I will post a video of Kappas bid night below and you will see what I mean.)
3-School Spirit
4- The Kettle Corn at the Football games is like Nicotine
5-Everyone lives on campus and rides a Beach Cruiser
6- The connections and job opportunities after graduation
7- Chick Fil A is only 1 block away from campus
8- The Marching Band - They played Party Rock by LMFAO at this game
9- The beautiful White Trojan horse that runs around the stadium after a touchdown
and last but not least 10- The bacon wrapped hot dogs that are sold outside of the stadium ( I wasn't very happy they raised their prices to $5, but it's a recession so I can't blame them
If any of my fellow Utes are mad after reading this post it's most likely because you agree with me. At the end of the day I'm still a University of Utah graduate and just jealous I didn't graduate from SC....haha
Here is a video from Kappa Kappa Gammas Bid Night. They had a DJ, The Slice Truck, A Blowup Slide, and a Photo Booth=Amazingness

WET Design

Last week we went to a University of Utah alumni event in Burbank. The founder and CEO of WET Design went to the U and had a reception for fellow alums for a reception and tour of his amazing workshop. What is WET Design? I asked myself the same question when the invitation came in the mail. WET is the company that created some of the most famous fountains including The Bellagio in Las Vegas, the cauldron for the 2002 Winter Olympics and The Burj in Dubai. Founder and CEO Mark Fuller hosts fellow alums for a reception and tour of his award-winning workshop. Here is Mr. Mark FullerThe office area was so cool. They had these rooms everywhere with movable white board walls and bean bags to sit in. The other cool thing was that everything was in Utah Red!!

Fountains with fire. I even got to stick my hand through it, amazing.
The cleanest whitest lab ever.
Crazy machines that make the fountains. I wish I could explain things in more detail, but engineering has never really been my thing
and us in our cool new WET hats!!
