Last weekend we went on a quick trip to Vegas to see Al's parents. We ate at a few of our favorite restaurants including Sushi Fever and Peppermill.
We spent a few hours at MGMs pool on Saturday.
It wasn't the typical Vegas trip.... I showed up to the pool in a one piece with a baby. 3 years ago when we moved to Vegas I used to think OMG who would take a baby/kids to Vegas. I basically broke all of my rules.
Luckily we found some shade for Alex's perfect baby skin.
The later it got the louder the music got. Al #4 showed off his dancing skills.
Pretty good moves for a Grandpa
That night we walked to the Cosmopolitan which was probably a bad idea since it was still 105. We covered up Alex and I let him borrow my sunglasses.

We ate at Wicked Spoon which is the buffet at Cosmopolitan. I'm not really a buffet girl, but this food was delish and the desserts were the best.
Poor little Alex has to watch us eat all the time. I can't wait to feed him rice cereal in a few weeks. Note.....drool or spit up on Al's shoulder.
All of us 5lbs heavier after the yummy buffet.
I can't forget the amazing chandelier in the Cosmo. Definitely stole this picture off Google

Why not waste $1 to get a picture with some Show Girls. As you can see Alex was loving them.

We couldn't leave Vegas without sitting him at the slots.

Even though I've never seen the show I wanted to check out Pawn Stars.

Here it is....

The best was the ring that we thought was a BYU championship ring.....but the Y was for Yale.
and this awesome Baseball signed by Babe Ruth for only $13,000, what a deal!!

PS If you are going to drive back to LA on a Sunday leave early in the morning or late at night. What should have been a 4 hour car ride turned into 6.5, no fun.

And a cute video of Alex laughing. I love his laugh, so sweet.
