Al's mission companion Mike Dayton came to visit us last weekend. Traffic was horrible on the way to the airport so instead of fighting it on the way home we went to dinner in Long Beach. We found a yummy Thai restaurant on Yelp and will definitely be going back.
Alex was taking pictures as usual and this one actually turned out.
The next day we had breakfast at a new find in Hollywood called Doughboys Cafe. I was drooling over their red velvet cake but by the time we were done with our food we were too full.
Alex loved Dayton which is so rare because usually he's so shy around people he doesn't know.
So thankful Cole is mellow
This was one of the craziest street performers. We all stood there for at least 5 minutes trying to figure out what he was sitting on.
Good ol Hollywood Blvd
We found Hollywood Mickey and Alex was saying "Mihey Mou, Mihey Mou"
When Mike was 17 he ran away from home and stayed at this Hostel for a few nights until his parents found him.
Things just get crazier and crazier. We talked to this guy and asked why? I said don't you want to have kids and he said I'm sure I can still have kids?
Before we left we let Alex run through the fountains until his skin was ice cold.
That night Al and Mike went to the Clippers game. They found some guys on Craigslist selling really close seats for a decent price. Can you tell they were wasted? Ha they wanted Al and Mike to go party and eat dinner with them at Flemings after the game.
