Disneyland

One of the benefits of staying at Disneyland is early access to the parks. Well this is the view and weather the first morning we were there, I wanted to cry!!  Instead of buying $20 ponchos at the hotel we drove to Target and bought $1 ones and by the time we got back it had stopped raining and was starting to get sunny, but the parks were already so crowded.
Yay for Mickey outfits and Disneyland!!
Our first character sighting was Goofy and they were pretty excited.  It's so much more fun to share these moments with your kids.
Calmest and sweetest Baby Brady wating for It's A Small World

I thought Cole would love this ride, but he cried the entire time and I was holding Brady, haha.
One of their favorite things were the parades we watched together.  We were standing really close to the Matterhorn during the parade so I told Al to take Alex on the Matterhorn after while I went to feed Brady. How cute is this picture and Alex loved the ride.
Typical family picture and so so busy but I loved that we were able to go and spend time together.
Al wouldn't go on the teacups with us, but you can't go to Disneyland and not go.
The face of joy and happiness, love these boys of mine.
So round, yummy and squishy
One of my favorite kid rides I used to take Alex on all the time.  Too bad we waited almost an hour to ride it, so lame.
Everyone loves the carousel
Sword In The Stone
I made us reservations at the Blue Bayou in Pirates of The Caribbean for dinner and the kids loved it. I wanted us to stay and watch fireworks, but Cole was done so Al took them back to the hotel to get ready for bed.
There was a parade going on so Alex and I walked onto the Haunted Mansion, Winnie The Pooh, and waited a bit for Big Thunder Mountain.  We also tried to go on Indiana Jones, but he was too short which was such a bummer.  We saw the amazing firework show and he kept saying I love you Mom, this is so much fun, I'll never forget it.
One last picture before we went back to the hotel.

California Day 1

I've been bugging Al for awhile to take the kids to Disneyland so we planned a week long trip to Los Angeles.  My friend Celeste told me they used to surprise their kids with vacations so I packed their new suitcases and we woke them up early that morning telling them they were going to California!!
Al was already frazzled at this point since he's so used to going to the airport by himself with his carry on, haha.
We got 2 first class upgrades, once again thanks to Al's trip to Africa when I was 38 weeks pregnant.  Me, Alex, and Brady enjoyed these fabulous seats.
We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our stroller so we asked the kids if they could see the cockpit.

The first 3 nights we stayed at the Paradise Hotel at Disneyland.
I think I was as excited as them to be back in beautiful California and Disneyland!!

Brady 3 Months

At 3 months Brady is going to bed at 7pm and wakes around 2 or 3 to eat and then waking up at
6:30-7am.
He loves to eat and is pretty fast now
Coos a lot
Chews on his hands all the time and clasps them together like he's praying
Has the cutest dimple above his lip on his left side
Went to California, sat in first class there and back and didn't make a peep.  He also did amazing on our trip with sleeping and just going with the flow.
Can still see his stork bite on his forehead especially when he cries which rarely happens

Tubes and Adenoids

Cole had been having tons of ear infections since last summer so his Pediatrician referred us to an ENT.  The ENT recommended that his tubes and his adenoids be removed ASAP.   I wanted to try and get the surgery done before we went to Disneyland so he could enjoy and doing that with Al's schedule was impossible so I got brave and did it while Al was out of town.  My friend Heather rescued me again and came over at 6am to watch Alex and Brady while I took Cole to the hospital.  Right before the surgery they gave him a syringe of something that made him so loopy.
The surgery was maybe 20 minutes, but he did great and it wasn't too bad coming out of the anesthesia which I heard is the worst part with little kids.

Sad to see your kids like this, but so happy that he was going to be able to hear and breathe again.  The Dr said he had tons of jello like fluid in his ears which is why his nose was always runny and why he snored while he slept.
When we got home I thought he might take a long nap, but instead he threw up all over me and our couch, good times.
I basically let him eat, drink, and watch whatever he wanted that day.  3 months later he told me he wanted to get up early go to the hospital and drink juice all day, too funny.  That night he slept great and he recovered pretty quickly.  The worst part was his breath a few days later that lasted a couple weeks.  It was so so foul, I guess its from the dead tissue.
Alex enjoying the perks of Cole having his tubes out.
Oh my goodness chubby babies are sooooo delicious.
Alex all ready for his soccer game.
Sunday was Valentines Day and Al got me this amazing bouquet that I sadly only got to enjoy for a few days before we left for Disneyland.
We had Chocolate Fondue with the boys that night which they didn't enjoy as much as I thought they would.
and while Al was out of town he won Regional Business Manager of the Year, so so proud of him and all his hard work.  We love you Al!!

Random Fun

We always have lots of fun when people come to visit, too bad no one wants to come to Dallas, haha. We took my mom to the Perot museum
Pictures with Brady boy after bath time

Coles favorite teacher Mrs Shannon moved to Colorado.  For a few weeks he said he wanted to go to Colorado to visit Mrs Shannon.
Every Wednesday while Alex is at school we have Mom and Cole day, he talks about it every week.
and sweet Brady, love this baby boy.
We had to go get Alex some new soccer shoes and Cole was so asleep so we put him in the stroller, did some shoe shopping, and Alex and I shared a Cinnabon, haha.

Brady's Blessing Day

Al gave Brady a beautiful blessing on February 7th which was also Super Bowl Sunday!!
How cute is this sweet boy
Pre church pictures which Al was super excited about

Cole and Carly ended up sitting next to each other at church, yikes.
We had some friends over after sacrament for lunch.  I was so bummed because the R and A for Brady hadn't been delivered, but they came at 1230 right before we left, hooray.
The Winn family who recently just moved to Colorado, we miss them already.
So grateful to have Diane close by
Love all these girls.  Heather, Ally, Lauren, Lisa, Teri, and Dawn who worked with me in Utah and just moved to Atlanta.  I feel like my friends always move away, so sad.
Family picture and right after this Alex fell and tore a hole in his knee in his brand new suit, such a bummer.
One with Grandma Ranes, so happy she could join us.
