Fathers Day 2016

Brady finally outgrew his Puj tub so he gets to take a bath with the big boys now.
We found frog in our pool, yikes but the boys thought it was so cool.
Alex's cute friend Lucas from preschool had a birthday party that we got to celebrate.

I bought Al a Green Egg for Fathers Day in hopes that his love for cooking grows :)
Brady loves the pool and his Baby Float
Fathers Day for Al complete with chocolates, a book illustrated by Alex, trophies made by the boys, and the cutest questionnaires

Sunday selfie
Al and I laugh because Brady is not snuggly, he doesn't like to be cuddled and will always fight it, even after nursing.
Our annual dinner Fathers Day dinner with BBQ and Dads Rootbeer, We Love You!!

We got all our Texas gear on to post on FB about Al getting his MBA this fall.  Hook Em Horns

Fun In Dallas

My friend Kristin moved to Dallas at the beginning of the summer so we met her at the Dallas Art Museum and hung out at Klyde Warren.
Relaxing in the kids reading nook
Sketching some artwork
Cutest 4 boys, we are going to miss the Gunnerson family

We ordered lunch from the Food Trucks and hung out at Klyde Warren while the kids played
We love going to Dallas and exploring the city, my love for Texas is growing.

Legos

Summer started and I had these 2 signed up for  something every week before we left for Utah.  The first week was Safari summer camp for a few hours everyday.
We took a trip to the beach by the lake and sadly it was mostly underwater but these 2 still had a blast and ate their $5 Little Caesars pizza.
Nighttime chit chat with sweet Brady.
Another day at Friend Camp
We went to a lego convention that was super lame, but they had fun and we got some cool pics.

Swim party with some friends from church!!

Old Friends

Our favorite monthly activity is the Home Depot workshops.  This weekend was Fathers Day trophies and Dad got to go with us.

I could be in trouble next year when Brady is mobile and wants to do it.
My friend Gunner from College was in Dallas for a few days with his girlfriend so they had dinner with us and stayed for a night.
Our playground is installed and great, it's still not completely leveled, but they are loving it.

Grapevine Mall

Al somehow gets volunteered for every extra opportunity with Integra. While that should be a blessing and great for his career, it is sad for his family and we lose out on a lot of extra time we get to spend with him. Everyone always says it will be worth it someday, but will it?  I feel like he misses so many moments with our kids and I wish it wasn't so.  If anyone is reading this my answer is be a Dentist, Doctor, or even better a Orthodontist.  Pick a career that allows you to spend time with your family because in the end that's all that really matters.  Al left early on Memorial Day for South America.
He trained the divisions out there which has nothing to do with his position now
How fun are snapchat filters, I'm obsessed.  We waste time almost everyday laughing and playing with them.
I took the boys to Legoland and Alex was really the only one that could ride everything.
We were hoping to play at the new waterpark, but weather ruined that and Cole wasn't happy about it.
Our friends Paige and Deacon at Legoland
Cole relaxing in the stroller
We walked around the mall after Legoland and took a ride on these random animals.
Where were these when I was a kid, so fun

Brady 6 Months

At 6 Months Brady is.....
Rolling over more consistently and can do a push up
Bought a high chair that he loves to sit in with his brothers at the table
Got his first bottom tooth and 2nd one came in a week later
Started taking 2 consistent naps and the afternoon one in his crib, yay
Still sleeps in our closet and started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches
Usually wakes up at 6am but will sleep until 7 or 8 if I put him back
Loves baby food, inhales rice cereal, loves squash, sweet potatoes and carrots.  Does not like the green beans or peas.
Licks his lips at me when he's hungry and wants to nurse
Will not cuddle or lay on your chest, even mine.  Al and I've tried everything

Memorial Day 2016

Al's parents left early Sunday morning and we all had visitor hangovers.  I always wish everyone could stay longer and I feel like Al always leaves right after so it's extra sad to be alone again.
We apparently wore Cole out

Al had to fly out on Memorial Day but we did a few fun things including this cool snow cone truck our neighborhood had
We went to the mall and Cole wouldn't wake up so I let him sleep in the stroller.
All of us on the merry go round.  Time is a strange thing, it passes so quickly but some days I feel like it's never going to end.  I love these 3 boys so much and I'm grateful for all the time we get to spend together.  I will cherish these days forever.
