Last week we met Al's dad in San Diego so they could practice their open water swim for The Alcatraz Triathlon. We went to the cove in La Jolla again and it was so beautiful. The picture below looks gloomy, but it was sunny and there were flowers everywhere. If you look closely you can see two little dots in the ocean and that is Al and his dad.
If you look off in the distance in the next picture you will see a cliff covered in purple wildflowers. They are all over SoCal and I love them.
I made a new friend while I was waiting for them. He liked to eat the petals off all the daisies. He was so cute and yes he is a squirrel.
He really liked me when I found a fruit loop in my purse (thanks to Briyler). He must get fed a lot by people because he was right next to me. I wanted to take him home....lol
Notice in the next picture how all the petals are gone. My squirrel friends have been busy.
We stayed in a Marriott right next to Petco Park where The Padres play. Best view ever!!
We decided at the last minute to go to the game and got there during the 5th inning which was perfect. That's how long baseball should be.
Good news.....The first 25,000 fans got free Padre floppy hats. Good thing there wasn't that many people there because I love my new Padres floppy hat.
7th Inning Stretch is by far the best part of the game and really the only thing I look forward to at baseball games.
BUY ME SOME PEANUTS AND CRACKER JACK I DONT CARE IF I NEVER GET BACK!!!
The night gets even better.....My Al caught a foul ball. It also hit his dads hand so hard you could see where the seam of the ball hit his hand...lol

It amazes me how bad some people are at taking pictures with a point and shoot camera. I cropped this picture and it still seems crooked. This was also the second picture taken. You should have seen the first, it was the grass and us.

My Aunt Caroline and her 3 boys are in town for a couple of weeks, so I got to meet up with them at Travel Town. Travel Town is this random little park 10 minutes from our house next to Griffith Park with a bunch of random old trains and cars.
They have a random little train we all got to ride around the park....twice. From the caboose... Seth, Noah, Zach, Caroline, Me, and David

I've been bugging Al to take me back to Angel Knolls park where 500 Days Of Summer were filmed. Last time we went it was night and locked up. Here is a picture from the movie
Apparently a lot of other people know about this park too because we had to wait in line to take this picture..lol
I was really disappointed because the park was so run down. It was so cute in the movie so I had higher expectations.
If they mowed the grass, kicked the bums out sleeping everywhere, and didn't charge $5 for parking it would be awesome, but until then Angels Knoll Park is over rated.
On Sunday I went to a Kappa Tea Party for Alumnae, Advisors, and graduating Seniors from USC, UCLA, and Pepperdine. It was at an Alumnaes house in Pacific Pallisades which is right by the beach in Santa Monica. The house was so amazing I wanted to ask her if I could move in. This is the alumnae giving Fleur di lis to all the graduating seniors.
I made blue Fleur de lis sugar cookies and was going to post a picture until Al ate all the left over ones!! They were so cute and apparently pretty good because there wasn't a crumb left.
I don't think I have ever been to a real tea party and I must say I loved every minute of it. Nothing is better than being a Kappa.
