Lately

Last week I told Al I needed to return a shelf from Costco, but he wasn't very happy because he had already assembled it.  I tried to tell him it's hard to know if you really like something until you see it in the room itself.  I knew he wasn't thrilled about going, so I threw the shelf in my trunk and tied it down with ribbon from our wedding.  I was proud of myself especially since I had Alex with me.
Alex is seriously obsessed with Baby Einstein.
One of our many days spent at the mall.  I'm a new fan of the Santa Anita mall because no one is ever there during the days.
We tried the new Dog Haus restaurant which was delicious.
I'm not a huge hot dog lover, but these were amazing.
My new Pilates class I take a few times a week.  I forgot how much I love the reformer.
A lovely lunch with Joanna at Bottega Louie.
and some of their yummy macaroons to go.
Alex in his new Santa Claus diapers....I couldn't resist.

The back side....Ho Ho Ho
His new love for toilets which totally grosses me out.
Alex and his friend Hazel at church.
The main reason why recycling is not appealing.....I've been 3 times and the line was like this.  I refuse to stand behind someone who is reading a book?

Alex loves balloons.....it's at least 30 minutes of entertainment :)

A Blustery Day

Last week the Santa Ana Winds almost blew California away. Alex woke up a few times that night because the wind was so loud. I've never heard anything like it and I'm thankful that I was warm in my bed and that our cars were safe in the garage. I had no idea how bad it was until I was driving to Pilates the next morning. Almost every stop light was out and every road I drove down looked like this.

<span class=
School were closed and there were hundreds and thousands of people without power and some still don't have it one week later.
<span class=
I saw cars and houses that were crushed by trees.
<span class=
The stands for the Rose Parade made it through the storm ok.
<span class=
2 trees on the side of our house blew over
<span class=
and huge trees like this blew over with their roots uplifted, so crazy. It makes you think twice about being prepared for an emergency and that we are not. I need to invest in food storage asap.

Space??

Are you kidding? I had no idea that this could really happen...I usually use blogger to upload our pictures until I got this error. When you use blogger they are all saved to your gmail account. Well apparently I filled up my limit so now I have to pay for more space or start uploading to another site.....sigh So sad<span class=

Turkey Weekend

Here are some other random pictures I took on my phone while we were in Utah. We packed Alex in a suitcase.

We visited Al's grandma who is in the hospital. She has colon cancer that spread to her abdomen. While we were there she was on a ventilator and wasn't responding to anyone, but the last few days she has improved and the ventilator was removed. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

My mom watched Alex so we both could be in the ICU at the same time. It isn't easy to put him to sleep on your shoulder.....lets call her the baby whisperer
While we were at the hospital we had lunch at the Pointe. Al and I hadn't been there since our wedding reception, so it was good to be back after 3 years.

We went to dinner at my favorite Thai restaurant MeKong which we will never go back to again. Their was a group of 7 of us....we sat down at 6:45pm and still didn't have our food by 8:00. The owner BRENDA who is also the waitress was sooooo rude which is crazy because my cousin who is in the picture below eats there 2-3 times a week. To make a long story short we ended up leaving and went to a different Thai restaurant with amazing service.
Alex watched Baby Einstein with Great Aunt Liz

Alex playing with Grandma Ranes dog Abbie. He loves dogs and laughs when they bark.

We went shopping on Black Friday. Al secretly wished he had a stroller he could sleep in too.

I always feel bad when we travel because the majority of his naps are in his car seat, on my shoulder, or in his stroller.

Ranes family dinner at yummy Shanghai Cafe.

Alex loves to sit on our laps and play with the steering wheel. He will practically jump out of my arms to play with it.

Another hospital visit with Al 4,5, and 6.

Fabric shopping with Liz which if you know Liz is a big deal.

Al's mom is making Liz a quilt with all her t shirts from Tennis Tournaments. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Driving again

A quick visit with the one and only Stacy Moss....Alex loved her earrings.
It was a successful visit and it's always so much fun to see our families.

Cameron Family At Ahmanson Ranch

I don't want to ruin our Christmas Card, but here is a sneak peak of our family pictures Al made me take a few weeks ago;) They were taken at Ahmanson Ranch in Calabasas by the very talented Leigh Ann Rahn

I think we got maybe 2 pictures of Alex actually smiling and this wasn't one of them.

We would have had balloons in our picture, but they blew away before we started. Those balloons were trouble. Originally I wanted to get one of those 36" perfectly round balloons, but the guy at the balloon store wouldn't sell me one because he said it wouldn't fit in my car. I sat there and debated for 10 minutes on what I should do and finally decided on 5 regular balloons. I had major drama with the lady that blew up the balloons because she curled the ribbon after I asked her not too. Then she tried to uncurl it with scissors and I told her I didn't like how it looked so she proceeded to cut most of the ribbon off? I looked at her thinking are you serious? You really expect me to pay for the balloons looking like that? Where is customer service these days? Long story short she ended up making me a new bouquet of balloons. Then we drove the balloons all the way to Calabasas with me holding the balloons so Alex couldn't play with them and pop them before we got there. Once we finally got there we were unloading the car with 3 doors open which was dumb, I know. I bet you can't guess what happened next....the balloons floated to the front of the car and flew out the window, so the photographers first picture was this. Maybe it was better the balloons weren't in our pictures or at least that's what I like to think :)

Fat Cats

We went bowling with Al's family while we were in Utah. We had dinner at the Pizza Factory and filled up on their yummy breadsticks while Alex played with a spoon.

It was an intense game of bowling with the Al's. The boys were trying to see who could throw the ball the fastest since the screen tells you the mph, Coby won.

Aunt Lexi and Alex

Trevor rapping?

The Cameron Clan

Grandma and Grandpa Cameron with Alex and Kynlie who are 2 weeks apart.

Mom and Son.....it's still weird for me to type son.

I know it's sad to see babies cry, but I think Alex is still cute when he crys...lol He wasn't in a very good mood while we were bowling which made it hard for me to take my turn.

Briyler

and the 3 of us. Bad news, Al beat me by 1 point. Next time I'm bringing my A game to the Alley.
